3. Information Resonate does not collect

Resonate does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or special categories of personal data, such as genetic data, biometric data used for uniquely identifying a person, health information, or religious beliefs.

Additionally, Resonate does not knowingly collect information from or intentionally direct our Apps or content toward individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware or have reason to suspect that a user is under 18, we will promptly close the user's account.

If you have an active account, you can directly access, update, correct, or delete your personal information through your account settings within the Apps. Additionally, you can contact us to request changes or deletion at privacy@resonate.audio.

Data Retention

Resonate retains your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to accomplish the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable legal or regulatory obligations, dispute resolution processes, or to enforce agreements. Specific retention periods vary based on the nature of the data, intended uses, legal requirements, and your preferences.

Once your Personal Data is no longer necessary or legally required, we promptly delete or anonymize the data. We may indefinitely retain anonymized or aggregated data for ongoing business operations, such as analytics and product improvement.

Withdrawing Consent

Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your preferences within the Apps or by contacting us at privacy@resonate.audio. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Resonate may share your Personal Data with third parties as outlined below, in alignment with this Privacy Policy or otherwise with your explicit consent.

Service Providers and Partners:

We engage third-party service providers to assist us in operating and managing our Services. These include cloud hosting, analytics providers, payment processors, communication platforms, and infrastructure services. Such providers include, but are not limited to, Apple (distribution and payments), OpenAI (ai models), AWS (cloud hosting), GitHub (project management), Datadog (monitoring), and Google Workspace (internal collaboration tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are not permitted to use it for any purpose other than performing services on our behalf. Additionally, certain data may be temporarily shared with third-party AI providers to deliver specific features; this data is deleted after 30 days and is never used for training purposes.

Business Transfers:

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of company assets, or similar transaction, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of our business assets. We will take reasonable measures to ensure the recipient adheres to the principles set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Professional Advisors:

We may disclose your Personal Data to professional advisors such as lawyers, bankers, auditors, or insurers where necessary for receiving their professional services.

Advertising Partners:

Resonate implements reasonable safeguards to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

8. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We implement technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Communications

If you are a registered user of the Apps and have supplied your phone number, email address or registered for push notifications, Resonate may occasionally send you an email, text, or notify you to tell you about security, system information, new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with Resonate and our products. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. 10. Tailored Advertising

We use cookies or similar technologies to deliver targeted advertisements and retargeted ads on platforms such as Facebook and other advertising networks. This allows us to personalize our marketing content based on your interactions with our Services and to measure advertising effectiveness. We do not sell your personal data or use it to enable targeted advertising by unaffiliated third parties. While we do not currently allow third-party advertisers to deliver tailored marketing through our Services, you may still see general, non-personalized advertisements from us.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services. The collection, use, and disclosure of your information by third parties will be subject to the privacy policies of the third-party websites or services, and not this Policy. 12. Privacy policy changes

Resonate may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make updates, we will revise the effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If the changes materially affect your privacy rights, we will notify you through a prominent notice within our Services, specifying when the updated terms will take effect. Changes will apply prospectively and will not be retroactive. Your continued use of our Services following such updates indicates your acceptance of these changes. 13. Children’s personal data

Our Services are not intended for users under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18.
